Remodel in Transitional Style

A relatively large space to work with - the clients were unhappy though with the original kitchen because of dated cabinet styling and a layout that chopped the space into divided segments. Tall units like the Refrig,  Oven Cabinet, and Pantry were spread out and left little useful counter space. Here the tall elements are pulled left creating an expanse of counter space-happy clients.

A consistent design approach of mine is to create a focal point with the Range and Stainless Hood. All you need is enough counter space to center the Range in a balanced configuration. Here the result is dramatic and all it really took was to rearrange the elements.

Note here the Transitional Styling of the Cabinetry. This is another showroom essential for any aspiring Kitchen and Bath Dealer. Dark, rich wood in cherry, maple - or is this case Alder. A proven winner.

Showroom Design - Caruso Kitchen Designs, Boulder, CO

Hand-rendered Floorplan and Elevation Presentation for a Tuscan-Themed Display featuring Cabinetry from a major custom manufacturer. The intention was an upgrade quality display in a currently fashionable Styling. A mixture of painted off-white distressed door styling and a burnished, glazed cherry accent door style. Modeling the William Ohs approach to include four Essential Design Elements in a given project - this display is the signature display of the showroom.  Many kitchens are being sold based on this Display plan and execution. This styling falls into the 'Classic White' Display category.

Classic White Kitchen - A Must In Any Showroom

White painted cabinetry on a framed door - the most enduring style choice for the last twenty years. Traditional  or Transitional...clean white or off white....with or without glaze/distressing. In most metro markets...a significant number of buyers will be looking for something like this. All manufacturers...at whatever pricepoint-will have a version of this.
